The series is a netflix production directed by Eric Heisserer and based on the novels by Leogh Bardugo.
It revolves around the main protagonist Alina starkov (Jessie Mei Li) and assoicates Malyen (Archie Renaux), General Kirigan (Ben Barnes).
The series being one of a kind revolves around the Griesha concept. Alina being a Greisha who has the scientific ability to summon light. Which makes the ultimate asset ro destroy the Shadow Fold.
The Shadow fold is a region of eternal darkness which had once sit the Kingdom of Ravka into Wast and West Ravka, and as the legends go, only a Sun Summoner Griehsa 'Alina' can destroy the shadow fold from within.
So under the mentorship of General Kirigan Alina sets of on a new adventure to save Ravka and unite the Kindgoms while strategies and subplots follow.
All in all it's a good series, a fun packed entertainment,
