Clamp success as Covid cases drop


Bahrain has been witnessing a steady fall in Covid-19 infections with the test positivity rate plunging to 3.77 per cent on Thursday – the lowest in the last four months.

Number of infections also dropped to 487 yesterday after hitting a high of 3,274 on May 29 – indicating the success of pre-emptive measures put in place by the National Taskforce for Combating the Coronavirus (Covid-19) early this month.
