Brave Mc Bird

Brave is 7 years old and has got jet black hairs and brown impressed eyes that finds everything that he likes undangerous. In town all people knew him and liked him. He liked birds and it was sufficient for him to see one of them to find the teacher less interesting.

The child Mc Bird, over named the one in the cloud, was as stupid as nice, or maybe became nice for everybody by being stupid. Brave was not brave, and persons joked about it. His friends called him Brave, sometimes joking because brave was the antonym of Brave. He lived in Portatoo.

Portatoo is a small town in Scotland with a nice big road, nice houses and…the Portaband in the scary little dark street. They have not always been bad. Hideyes is their chief; he is evil, has an eye missing due to a moto accident, he hides it with a headband and received a nickname; he is also as tall as giant.

Everybody feared him and nobody wants to see him. He is always dressed in black, in the small alleys he is hard to see. You must be so brave to just go see this horrible, no mercy person. Many stories turn around him: some people think he is a giant that came from hell!

On this day, Brave was going to the bakery by himself for the first time and was scared so, he walked and hurt someone. He feared him so, he went straight into a dark, scary street and after running, he stopped and closed his eyes. He opened them and saw around him. On one side there was written “Portaband”. He was in the smallest and scariest street in Portatoo.

He decided to stay relax, but then a bird arrived, “Surely, he will get me out of here!” he though even though he knew it was false. He just wanted to have some company…he should not have taken this one!

He walked and arrived in a street with someone. It finished him. He went straight to him forgetting everything and gave a hug to this unknown person. He realized too late.

This man had an eye missing and was taller than his father. “Ho! You are lost. I will help you! Just give me what you have in your pocket.” Hideyes said. He did not worry and gave him his Yo-Yo, the money of the bakery and the card with the phone number of his parents.

They walked and did not arrive home. At this point, he started to worry because it was almost night. He looked at Hideyes and yelled “HAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!”

He ran away. All ideas were in his head, and he did not know what to think. He arrived on the big street and stopped to think. Was he crazy? In the last ten minutes he was following the most searched person in the town. He ran to the house of Tom, his best friend, and told him everything.

They both ran to the police station and found a policeman; it was the explosion: “Arrest Hideyes now! He captured me! He stole the money! I followed him! I need money for the bakery!” said Brave without taking breath.

“What?!” said the policeman. Then, they explained clearly, and Mr. Policoroc, the policeman, listened to it carefully and said he could help. So, the three of them went out.

Policoroc and Tom though they were stupid to follow Brave. They ran to the dark street and Tom said that his mom would never want to see him there. He, therefore, refused to run in here, there were only two runners left. They ran fast and arrived in a street with Hideyes.

Hideyes was there, he had sat and was counting the money.

Tension, looks, duel.

They started by going on each side of the street. Then, they turned slowly, slowly they turned and exchanged place. A “no!” sounded and Hideyes ran away. Mr. Policoroc and Brave followed. Fast. They arrived on the main road. Paf! Hideyes fall off! It was all the friends of Tom and Brave. Mr. Policoroc called the other policemen, but they said that Mr. and Miss Mc Bird were looking for their son. “He is here too!” said Mr. Policoroc.

The parents of Brave arrived first and gave him a hug. The police took Hideyes with them and said to Brave that he was so courageous. They gave the things stole to his parents.

Since this day, Hideyes is in prison for 1,230 years after what he did; Brave and his friends have got money for arresting Hideyes; Portatoo is now nice with no Hideyes. But, even if he does not know why, Brave Mc Bird cannot go outside without his parents anymore!
