MPs have demanded a new law to regulate online streaming services in Bahrain.
Currently, there is no specific government entity that monitors content being offered on digital platforms in the kingdom.
The call by five MPs, led by Parliament public utilities and environment affairs committee chairman Mohammed Buhamood, follows a controversy over an anime series on popular global streaming service Netflix.
