
Bahrain has been ranked as the 12th safest country in the world, according to new data released by a global publication.
It has jumped 43 places from 2019 when it was placed 55th in the Global Finance’s World Safest Countries 2021 index.
The US-based monthly financial magazine did not issue a list last year.
Iceland tops the latest ranking, followed by the UAE and Qatar, while the bottom three countries are Guatemala, Colombia and the Philippines.
