A copy of the unique Jubilee – 50 Years of Nationhood historical reference book will now be available to browse through at the National Library located at the Isa Cultural Centre in Manama.
The GDN’s managing editor Stan Szecowka met Dr Mansoor Sarhan, director of the National Library, to present a copy of the 392-page pictorial treasure trove to the institution.
They discussed the many contributions made by people across Bahrain to make the 50 years of nationhood project a success and the crucial role that Bahrain’s libraries play in amassing and disseminating its knowledge, history and culture.
