Work is on track on a 106-bed milestone health facility in Muharraq, according to officials.
The BD2.8 million multiple sclerosis centre, the first-of-its-kind in the region, is part of the Muharraq Medical Complex and is expected to be operational in the first quarter of next year.
The GDN reported in June that the centre, which is 17.4 per cent complete will feature seven outpatient clinics, a Myocardial Perfusion Imaging ward and a long-stay healthcare centre.
