Ninety-one Filipinos have been repatriated with the help of the Philippines Embassy in Bahrain.
They were sent back home on Gulf Air, after being stranded in Bahrain due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The embassy shouldered the airfare of 39 undocumented expatriates through the Assistance-to-Nationals Funds of the Department of Foreign Affairs.
They included minors, pardoned detainees, pregnant women, medical patients and wards at the embassy shelter.
