People take a lot of pride in their home cities, and one of the things they tend to feel hugely proud of is their skylines.
A study, carried out by image monitoring platform Pixsy, analyzed the number of Instagram posts of cities known for their iconic skylines across relevant hashtags such as #nycskyline and #londoncityscape. The average number of posts was then cross-referenced against each city's population, and annual visitor numbers to reveal the city skylines that were most inspiring to those both tourists and locals alike.
