Almost 40,000 visitors flocked to Al Maryah Island, Abu Dhabi’s global financial and lifestyle destination, to celebrate the Golden Jubilee - a 71% increase on 2020. Creating an all-in-one destination to work, live, shop and play - Al Maryah Island provided the perfect venue to celebrate 50 years since the unification of United Arab Emirates.
Throughout the festival, which ran from Thursday 2nd Dec to Friday 3rd December, guests were able to learn about the UAE’s traditional and authentic skills and experiences, with roaming performers interacting and entertaining visitors, including Al Rawnah (synchronized drums) and Camel Puppet Walkers amongst others.
Spectacular Firework displays and amazing drone shows closed the festival encompassing the pride of its people.
