Bahrain national day celebrations at
AWA general metting
On 13th Dec20 American women’s association (AWA) celebrated the 50th Golden Jubilee celebrations on the occasion of Bahrain national day at their general meeting held at Movenpick hotel.
There were many festivities for the members & guests like ladies wearing Arabic dresses called Jalabiyas, all the guests were served with Arabic cuisine plus different booths for Arabic coffee, henna application in Arabic designs, a falcon which was a great treat as falconry is great for Arab culture, ladies were allowed to hold & take photographs for memories. There was also a Bahraini, local band with dancer in traditional dress. From 9am till 12.30 there were all celebrations & Thanking Bahrain for giving us a wonderful home.
