My name is Denise Kfoury and I hold the position of treasurer for AWA. I was born in Cleveland, Ohio, but grew up in Mobile, Alabama. My four wonderful grown children are the light of my life. I have a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of South Alabama and have had the privilege to teach in Mobile and also in Jubail and Khobar, Saudi Arabia. I've been in Bahrain for eight years and decided to join AWA to help serve the community as well as meet people from all over the world. I've taught my children since they were young to give back whenever possible and I'm proud to say that all four were involved with Habitat for Humanity all four years of high school. They are all blood donors and my daughter regularly grows her hair, only to cut it for donation. I've been proud to serve as treasurer and plan on getting more involved with community service, so I can be proud to serve as my children have.
