Bahrain has made history by achieving the highest score ever recorded on the Nikkei Covid-19 Recovery Index for its response to the pandemic in December. The score of 82 per cent on the index surpassed the previous record of 76pc held by China for June 2021. Bahrain ranked ahead of Chile (76.5pc), Taiwan (75.5pc), the UAE (75pc) and China (74.5pc).
