
ART lovers have been captivated by the colourful creations of a Bahraini father and son showcased at a contemporary exhibition at the Art Centre, Manama.
Sharif & Sharif, organised by the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (Baca), is the first joint showcase for prominent painters AbdulRahim, 68, and Hisham, 29.
It features their take on modern art in the Gulf as well as highlights their individual artistic journeys in canvas forms.
Baca director general of culture and arts Shaikha Hala bint Mohammed Al Khalifa attended the event.
AbdulRahim, one of the founding members of Bahrain Arts Society, is a widely celebrated artist internationally and across the Arab region. He has represented his country in many exhibitions across the world.
