Eid Al Fitr will fall on May 2 in most countries where Ramadan started on April 2, according to the UAE-based International Astronomy Centre (IAC).
In a statement carried by UAE news agency Wam, IAC director Shawkat Odeh said it would be impossible to sight the crescent moon on April 30 as the moon will set before the sun.
