LiveWell with Nakheel, a health and wellness initiative across Nakheel’s communities in Dubai, marked the beginning of the Dubai Fitness Challenge with yoga by the beach during its fourth community health and wellness event at Myraa Restaurant at Club Vista Mare, Palm Jumeriah.
Modern Mayr Medicine founder, Dr. Harald Stossier, and LiveWell and Wellevate Life founder, Irina Sharma, held an interactive talk on good health which is a bedrock for strong societies, delving into the importance of how prevention is better than cure.
During the talk, the importance of movement and how it contributes to physical and mental well-being was highlighted. The event took place alongside the Wellevate Life podcast campaign ‘Breast Cancer has NO Gender’, coinciding with Breast Cancer Awareness Month, featuring special guest Maruf Azimov, a fashion expert who spoke about his journey as a male breast cancer patient.
