Benoy wins the Designer of the Year award at the prestigious RLI Awards ceremony held at the British Embassy in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on 2nd November. Benoy’s upcoming landmark retail project in Riyadh, Solitaire, was also highly commended in the ‘RLI Future Project’ category.

The Global RLI (Retail & Leisure International) Awards is an annual event that celebrates the most visionary and innovative retail and leisure concepts from across the globe. Benoy, celebrating its 75th Anniversary this year, is a global family of design specialists delivering world class creative and commercial solutions for the built environment with studios in the UK, US and Asia Pacific. The RLI Awards took place following the 3-day RLI Connect Global Deal-Making Forum, which brought together hundreds of investors, developers, franchise partners and retailers from shopping malls and developments across the Kingdom, GCC region and beyond. Benoy won amongst fierce competition in the Designer of the Year category, making it the stand-out practice and design studio.

Runners-up included Aedas, Design International, and Quadrant Design. The Designer of the Year award is a tribute to the architectural practice that consistently and accurately delivers the value of a brand to both business and customers.
