Under the honorary patronage of His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and Founding Honorary Patron the special 20th edition of Abu Dhabi Festival saw acclaimed Peruvian tenor, Juan Diego Flórez perform in spectacular fashion at Emirates Palace on 1 March 2023. Presented by the Abu Dhabi Music & Arts Foundation (ADMAF) and held under the theme “The Will for Evolution”, the headline programme of events will continue to take place over the first three weeks of March, featuring the world’s most renowned performers and musicians.
ADMAF Founder and Abu Dhabi Festival Founder and Artistic Director, Her Excellency Huda Alkhamis-Kanoo gave the opening remarks ahead of the performance and welcomed on stage His Excellency Sheikh Nahayan bin Mubarak Al Nahayan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence and ADMAF Patron to present the Abu Dhabi Festival award in partnership with Chopard to the celebrated tenor for his lifetime achievements in music.
