Max Verstappen scorched the asphalt at the Bahrain International Circuit as he blazed his way to victory in the 2023 Formula 1 Bahrain Grand Prix – the opening race of the season.
The two-time world champion, starting on pole, crossed the finish line 11.987 seconds ahead of teammate Sergio Perez to make it a 1-2 celebration for Red Bull Racing.
This is Verstappen's first-ever victory in Bahrain.
