What an amazing year of competition at all the BSME Games. The BSME Games are the pinnacle of BSME member schools' sporting calendar, and is the leading inter-country multiple sport competition in the Middle East. The purpose of the Games is to provide students with a variety of sporting opportunities in a safe and competitive environment; to ensure equal opportunity and participation to both boys and girls; to expand students’ learning experience in sportsmanship and in the value of healthy competition; to recognise the value of the benefits of training in preparation for competition; and to facilitate specialisation in sports appropriate to their age group.
The Games are divided into different competitions based on age groups; the BSME Under-19 Games, the BSME Under-15 Games, the BSME Under-13 Games, and the BSME Under-11.
Over 20 schools competed in the Under 13 and Under 15 Games and 12 in the Under 19, where St Christopher’s students performed to an outstanding level, showed courage and superb teamwork.
The sportsmanship, determination and support of each other throughout the Games was incredible to see. Our students have returned overloaded with medals and trophies!
