Aggregates in Construction Industry


Aggregates are materials that have been used in construction for hundreds of years. They are an essential component of concrete and asphalt and are commonly used in heavy-duty projects, such as in base layers for roads and foundations for buildings. There are two sources of aggregate nature which are found in nature and artificial aggregate. The main types of aggregate are rounded aggregate, flaky aggregate, angular aggregate, and irregular aggregate. There are four main sizes for aggregate coarse aggregate which range from 10 to 50mm (Typically 20mm). Fine aggregate like sand 0.07mm. Silt is ranging from 0.02 to 0.06mm. Clay are less than 0.02mm. preprocess.
