The Rotary Clubs of Salmaniya, Manama, Adliya, Seef Bahrain, Rotaract Club of Bahrain and the Rotary Satellite Club of Manama Youth jointly organised a Gergaoun event at Nakheel Centre in Saar. The Rotary clubs invited five charity societies to participate in the activities. Beneficiaries from the Bahrain Paralympic Committee, Dreams society, Al Kawther Society for Social Care, Janusan Charity Society and Tree of Life Society all attended the event. People participated in traditional activities such as henna painting and Freysa (traditional horsemen) dancing. The DJ played music while MC Ali Yaseen also organised a competition where prizes were won by visitors.
There was also traditional fare along with coffee, tea and kebabs for all during the family friendly atmosphere.
