Scars That Shine
The pain of life's struggles never seems to wane,
Like thorns, it pricks our healing hands again and again.
The world may not always be crystal clear
We confront our worst fears, and it's hard, I hear.
This pain can be heartless, cold, and cruel,
Causing words to wound, breaking faith's rule.
Emotions fray in this relentless game
But remember, it's part of our growth, our claim to fame.
It weaves through the threads of love and connection,
Leaving cracks in our voices, eyes in reflection
Tears flow like a river, anger a stormy sea
Yet through it all, we find strength, you and me.
The pain inside can test us, that's true
Breaking us down, but revealing something new
A solution? Perhaps it's to set us free,
From these chains that bind, just let us be.
Emerging from thorns, the sun will shine bright
Amidst sunflowers, we'll bask in its light.
Scars of pain, embroidered in our core
A testament to our strength, forevermore.
So let the pain of problems find its end
And may brighter days just around the bend
Hold on to hope, let the healing begin
For a future with no pain, we'll one day win.
