Parents of children aged between five and 11 are being urged by a top health official to take the initiative and protect them against Covid-19 and its variants by administering the latest bivalent booster shot.
The Health Ministry’s Disease Control Department head Dr Basma Al Saffar said that children of the above-mentioned age group should be administered the vaccine to protect them from infections as well as complications from the virus.
