Pakistan Urdu School – Middle Section – The Maths department conducted PBL Presentations on the following topics: Grade 3 – Topic: A fun fraction party To reinforce the concept of fractions, it was very exciting and engaging to arrange a fraction party. With the help of the fun activities, students were able to understand fractions in their daily lives and create a presentation of a fruit salad bowl using fractions. Visualization and interaction with fractional parts enhance their mathematical understanding in a fun and engaging manner. Grade 4 – Topic: Analyzing healthy and junk food choices In this project, students have learned how to collect, and analyze data and how to show their results visually. They have learned to interpret their results. Grade 5 – Topic: Designing a thermometer This project served as an educational tool to demonstrate the importance of tracking and analyzing weather patterns to make informed decisions about weather conditions in the real world.
