Festive crowds gathered this evening to witness the first cannon fire of Ramadan, marking the end of the first day's fast of the holy month.
Throughout Ramadan, cannons will echo at sunset each day across Bahrain from four locations – Arad Fort in Muharraq, Bahrain Fort in Karbabad, Abu Subh beach in Duraz and Riffa Fort.
