MANAMA, Palakkad Arts and Cultural Theater (PAACT) is conducting a one-day long Mega Event Star vision presents PAACT BHAVALAYAM 2024 - on Friday, 24th May at Bahrain Keraleeya Samajam Diamond Jubilee auditorium. The morning session will be from 9.00am to 1.00pm and will be devoted to Indian classical music recitals followed by, “NILOLSAVAM” in the evening: A musical Fusion by renowned playback Singer Shri. Sreeram Palakkad flown in from Kerala & a stage thriller Dance Drama - “Maayika” - conceived & directed by our own members and enacted by local artists in the land of pearl, Bahrain.
Morning Session (9.00 AM TO 1.00PM)- Chembai SANGEETHOLSAVAM 2024 SEASON 6 -will be a tribute to great Chembai Vaidyantha Bhagavathar. The legendary singer Late Chembai Vaidyanatha Bhagavathar (popularly known as Chembai) who hails from Palakkad was the doyen of Carnatic Music, and a highly reputable name known for his craft and immense contribution to Indian music and culture. This festival provides an elegant platform for the music students and their teachers in Bahrain to showcase their talent in Carnatic Music, an Indian style of classical singing. We expect 30 music teachers and 100 music students in Bahrain to take part in this SANGEETHOLSAVAM 2024. The presence of Mr. Ambilikuttan (M D, llPA), a disciple of Late Dr. Balamurali Krishna along with renowned playback Singer Shri. Sreeram Palakkad will add more colour to the event. We expect around 2000 music lovers from the Indian and Bahraini Communities to grace this event in the morning.
Evening Session (6.00 PM TO 10.00 PM) of BHAVALAYAM 2024 will commence with a Musical Fusion by renowned playback Singer Shri. Sreeram Palakkad (He is known for his frequent collaborations with A.R Rahman), followed by a Musical Dance Drama - “Maayika” - a much awaited show by our members and local artists.
PAACT Chief Coordinator Jyoty Kumar Menon, President Ashok Kumar, Secretary Satish Gopa lakrishnan, Star Vision Events Managing Director Sethuraj Kadaikal, Ladies Wing President Sajitha Satish, Bhavalayam General Convenor Shivadas Nair and Patron Murali Menon were present at the press conference. , 'Maika' screenwriter Preeti Sreekumar and EC members also participated.
