Samsa (Samskarika Samithi, Bahrain’s leading socio-cultural organization is celebrating its 10th anniversary


Samsa (Samskarika Samithi, Bahrain’s leading socio-cultural organization is celebrating its 10th anniversary by honoring 25 nurses from the Island on 12th May 2025 on the occasion of International Nurses’ Day. The event has been scheduled to be conducted at KimsHealth Auditorium at Um Al Hassam in association with Cancer Care Group (Affiliated to Bahrain Cancer Society). Samsa is happy to recall its journey during the last decade by performing many events and support to the Indian community by focusing its 5 slogans humanity, dedication, transparency, democracy and unity throughout. The effort and dedication extended by its members throughout is the strength of Samsa to achieve its goals throughout.

On the occasion of International Nurses’ Day, Samsa is conducting 2 events clubbed together. The event shall be decorated with many renowned personalities viz CEO of Government Hospitals, Chief of Medical Services of Government Hospitals etc.


Honoring 25 senior Nurses from the Island: Samsa is proud to honor 25 most dedicated Nurses having experience of more than 25 years from the land of pearl regardless of the nationality. The selection is purely based on the dedication and seniority of the Nurses. The applications were invited through the social media and the selection is being carried out by the committee. There could be more than 2500 dedicated senior nurses who are treated as the angels from God in the land, but honoring a large number shall not be possible within the short duration. Official invitations were forwarded for nominating the nurses from government and private hospitals and the response received from the hospitals and individuals are highly positive. The event shall be a golden feather in the crown of Samsa.

Hair Donation: Samsa Ladies Wing in association with Cancer Care Group, associated with Bahrain Cancer Society is donating the hair for the needy cancer patients for manufacturing the wig. This shall be the most humanitarian support for the needy cancer patients who loses the hair during the Kemo Therapy. Samsa Ladies wing is always a extending their support to the needy people in the Island through its Medical camps, yearly Blood Donation camp etc associating with Government and Private hospitals. Ladies always keep their hair as the most valuable and of course it is a symbol of their beauty. Donating the hair is as good as donating any other organ of the body and it is the symbol of the strength of their humanity.


The Nurses’ Day Event shall be Unique in its kind.

A Press Conference has been held 6th May 2025 at Tharavadu Restaurant, Hoora to announce the program. The Press meet was commenced by the welcome speech by Samsa General Secretary Mr. Anil Kumar AV and was presided by Samsa President Mr. Babu Mahe. Program General Convener Muralikrishnan presented the event details. Cancer Care Group President Dr.PV Cheriyan, Samsa Treasurer Mr. Riyas Kallambalam, Cancer Care Group General Secretary Mr. KT Salim, Samsa Entertainment Secretary Nirmala Jacob and KimsHealth Marketing Manager Mr. Pyarilal addressed the gathering. The press release was concluded with the vote of thanks by Samsa Ladies wing Treasurer Reshmi Amal. Samsa members Mr. Sunil Neelancheri, Mr. Sudhi Chirakkal, Mr.Manoj Anujan, Mr. Vineeth and Mr. Amal Venu were present in the Press meet.
