Representatives from a number of women ma’atams and procession co-ordinators attended an annual meeting hosted by the Jaffari Endowments Council.
It was held at the New Seasons Hall, Adhari Park in Manama, during which participants and officials reviewed preparations for the upcoming Ashoora season.
The meeting was led by council chairman Yusuf Saleh Al Saleh.
Muharram is expected to start on June 27, with Ashoora expected to fall on the evening of July 5 and the morning of July 6.
