
The contributions youth as part of Team Bahrain and their constructive contribution to national achievements were praised yesterday.
Supreme Council for Youth and Sport (SCYS) first deputy chairman, General Sports Authority chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee president Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa was joined by ministers, Parliament and Shura Council chiefs as well as heads of organisations in praising the progress achieved by youth under Bahrain’s leadership, which reflected the kingdom’s commitment to investing in young people’s potential and integrating them into all fields of development, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Marking International Youth Day, observed annually on August 12, Shaikh Khalid emphasised that youth are the nation’s real asset and a key driver of progress, with their energy and creativity.
