
The General Directorate of Traffic has urged parents not to hire drivers without a licence from the Transportation and Telecommunications Ministry to operate school transport, stressing that the measure is key to ensuring students’ safety.
In a video message shared on its official Instagram account, the directorate underlined that safeguarding students during their daily commute remains a top priority.
It also advised students to board the vehicle properly, remain seated throughout the journey, and refrain from distracting the driver while the vehicle is in motion.
