Under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad, the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, in co-operation with the Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Ministry, has opened registration for the 30th edition of the Bahrain Grand Holy Quran Award, taking place on October 14-30.
The award features seven main categories covering memorisation, recitation and performance.
It is open to men and women of all ages, including students, persons with disabilities, inmates and non-Arabic speakers.
