The chief minister of an Indian state is set to visit Bahrain for an exclusive event that will be held on Friday.
Keralites Meet, a landmark gathering, will be jointly hosted by the Bahrain Keraleeya Samajam (BKS), Loka Kerala Sabha and Malayalam Mission, at the BKS DJ Hall from 6.30pm onwards.
Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will address members from the community at the event. An organising committee comprising 501 members and chaired by BKS president Radhakrishna Pillai has been formed to oversee preparations for the visit, Mr Viyayan’s second since 2017, also hosted by the BKS.
Several prominent figures from the Malayali community in Bahrain, across cultural, social, religious and political spheres, participated in the committee formation meeting.
