The curtains rise today on what promises to be an exceptional week of theatre at the Bahrain National Museum and Cultural Hall.
The fourth edition of the Bahrain Theatre Festival, which will continue until November 10, will showcase five plays from five theatre groups, alongside book signings, readings and engaging discussions.
Organised by the Bahrain Theatre Union, in collaboration with the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (Baca), the event celebrates a century of Bahraini theatre. It is being held under the patronage of Supreme Council for Youth and Sports first deputy chairman, General Sports Authority chairman, and Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) president Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
