The 2025-2026 camping season in Bahrain will start on December 5 and last until March 25 next year, it has been announced.
Registration will be open from November 20 to 30, Southern Governor Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa said in a statement yesterday.
He made the announcement as he chaired a co-ordination committee meeting to launch the regulatory mechanism for the popular outdoor activity, and as part of the security preparations for the 2025-2026 camping season.
Present were Southern Municipal Council chairman Abdulla Abdullatif, Southern Municipality director-general Isa Al Buainain, Deputy Governor Brigadier Hamad Al Khayyat, Interior Ministry senior officers and governorate officials.
Shaikh Khalifa underlined the need for campers to adhere to the requirements and regulations, and follow the approved season map and the necessary guidelines and measures to ensure their safety.
Registration can be completed through the ‘Khayyam’ initiative located within the ‘Aljunobya’ mobile application.
