Bahrain yesterday welcomed its first batch of tourists of the 2025-2026 cruise ship season, marking the continuous growth of the tourism sector, the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) announced.
It comes as part of co-operation between the authority, the Transportation and Telecommunications Ministry and APM Terminals Bahrain, who operate Khalifa Bin Salman Port.
“The new cruise ship season contributes to achieving the objectives of the Tourism Strategy 2022-2026, positively impacting tourism activity, the national economy, and the transport and retail sectors in Bahrain,” said a BTEA statement.
