A top Bahraini plastic surgeon has become the first woman from the kingdom to hold dual board certification in both the UK and Europe.
Dr Nina Tariq Saeed recently received the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (FRCS Plast), a distinction awarded to surgeons who have achieved the highest standards of training in plastic surgery.
She is also the first Bahraini female surgeon to hold dual board certification in both the UK, through the FRCS Plast, and Europe, through the European Board of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery.
Dr Saeed graduated from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and completed a Master’s degree in plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery with first-class honours, as well as a postgraduate certificate in medical education from the University of Edinburgh.
