The National Initiative for Agricultural Development (NIAD) has launched a new tree-planting project along King Faisal Highway, with the support of Soueast–Asia Motors, a division of Y K Almoayyed & Sons.
The initiative forms part of the fifth phase of Bahrain’s national afforestation campaign.
As part of the project, 84 trees, including 42 hibiscus and 42 Thespesia populnea seedlings, will be planted.
This effort reflects Bahrain’s continued commitment to expanding green spaces, enhancing environmental sustainability and improving quality of life across the kingdom.
