Hilton shares joy with elderly

Hilton Bahrain celebrated the kingdom’s 54th National Day yesterday with members of the Bahrain Parents Care Society, highlighting the hotel’s commitment to meaningful community engagement.

The programme was in keeping with Hilton’s Travel with Purpose platform aimed at reinforcing the company’s dedication to celebrating culture, respect and human connection beyond hospitality.

“Bahrain National Day is a celebration of people, memories and shared values,” said Hilton Bahrain general manager Tamer Farouk. “Welcoming the Bahrain Parent Care Society was incredibly moving for us. Their warmth, stories and spirit are a beautiful reflection of Bahrain’s heritage and we were truly honoured to celebrate such a special day with them.”

The event offered a cultural experience which brought generations together as one. The charity is one of the leading associations serving elderly people in the kingdom.

The society’s members delighted guests with traditional dance performances in the hotel lobby, which was followed by a cake-cutting ceremony.

The celebrations continued at the property’s Origin Kitchen & Culture, with a specially prepared buffet lunch. Music, laughter and dancing carried on throughout the afternoon, creating an atmosphere of warmth and connection.
