A terrifying creature from Bahraini mythology has come to life as part of a thrilling house of horror experience in Hawa Al Manama. The ‘horror house’, located in the dark basement of Al Zainah Plaza, is themed around the mythical figure of Um Al Khadar Wel Leef, also known as Um Al Sa’af Wel Leef.
The ancient tree spirit, said to haunt palm groves under the cover of night and strike fear into wandering travellers, has long endured in the collective imagination.
Now, through this immersive experience, the legend is being introduced to a new generation in the most haunting way possible.
