The Interior Ministry’s shooting team achieved top rankings in the Arab Air Rifle and Pistol Shooting Championship, held in Oman.
The competition featured 141 male and female shooters, and the team secured 16 medals, including seven gold, seven silver and two bronze.
Police Sports Federation president Brigadier General Khalid Abdulaziz Al Khayyat expressed his pride in the team’s outstanding results.
He emphasised that these achievements reflect the continuous support the team receives from the Interior Minister, aimed at enhancing the athletes’ skills and enabling them to represent Bahrain in regional and international competitions.
The ministry’s shooting team included chief warrant officer Hussein Abduljabbar Ahmed, chief warrant officer Sarah Mohammed Khalaf, corporal Nouf Khalil Al Dosari, corporal Moza Abdulrahim Boujeri, corporal Badriya Ibrahim Al Atawi, corporal Ahmed Essam Al Shirawi, and Abdullah Khalid Abdullah Rahma.
