The Holy Quran Recitation and Teachers Preparation Institute held an awards ceremony to honour the winners of the third edition of the “Mutun” competition.
The ceremony was attended by Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (SCIA) assistant secretary general and Institute’s Board of Directors deputy chairman Shaikh Yasser Ibrahim Al Jalahma.
The competition resulted in the awarding of first, second, and third places across seven branches, each dedicated to the memorisation and understanding of approved classical texts in Quran sciences, Tajweed, and Qera’at.
Winners were announced in the various branches, including Al Shatibiyyah (three parts), Al Jazariyyah, Al Ajurrumiyyah, Tuhfat Al Atfal, and Al Khaqaniyyah.
