An initiative aimed at empowering cancer patients was organised by the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF), in collaboration with the Oncology Centre at King Hamad University Hospital (KHUH).
Titled ‘My Strength is Greater Than Any Challenge’, the event was part of RHF’s Future Makers initiative, which focuses on nurturing and empowering young talent.
Ruqaya Ashkanani, who is courageously battling leukemia, joined the project by offering psychological and moral support to patients, sharing messages of hope, resilience and strength in the face of health challenges.
Blankets were also donated to the patients by Ms Ashkanani and several RHF employees who participated as donors.
