A group of students from Ahmed Al Fateh Primary and Intermediate Boys School in East Riffa recently took the initiative to design and manufacture Quran stands as part of the school’s preparations for Ramadan.
The stands will be used during various events and activities focused on Quran memorisation and recitation throughout the holy month. Woodworking teacher Mohammed Saeed, who supervised the project, explained that the students aimed to deepen their connection with the Holy Quran through this hands‑on initiative.
The project was carried out in collaboration with the school’s Islamic Education Department.
The initiative forms part of government schools’ efforts to instil Islamic values and principles in students through meaningful activities and programmes carried out under the supervision and support of the Education Ministry.
