A community WhatsApp group, originally formed to share updates during the unprecedented Iran attacks in Bahrain, has come together for an unexpected mission: rescuing a critically-injured cat in Adliya, writes Carol Spencer.
Isak Kanchery, a 42-year-old life coach, was hunting for an apartment in the area when he noticed a severely wounded cat trailing behind him.
The animal had grave injuries to its lower body, and Mr Kanchery quickly realised that although the wound looked fresh it was beginning to show signs of infection.
