A chartered flight, organised by the Bharathi Association, took 192 expatriates from Bahrain to Chennai, India last night via Dammam.
Organised in collaboration with the Indian Club, the flight carried home passengers who were urgently seeking to travel for various reasons, after the temporary closure of Bahrain’s airspace. Priority was given to the elderly, pregnant women, children and medical patients.
The ticket included bus transportation to Dammam as well as the required Saudi visa.
