Visitors to the Karbabad coastline may soon enjoy shaded seating, landscaped areas and softly lit walkways under a new proposal approved by the Capital Trustees Board, aimed at enhancing the Bahrain Fort waterfront without compromising its historic character.
The initiative, submitted by Capital Trustees Board member Dr Abdulhassan Al Dairy, focuses on developing the stretch of coast adjacent to the Bahrain Fort Museum through a series of environmentally friendly improvements designed to complement its historic surroundings.
The project includes planting trees, installing solar-powered lighting, adding cement and wooden seating, and creating comfortable spaces for visitors to enjoy one of the kingdom’s most iconic waterfront locations.
