Ten insulin pumps were provided to children with diabetes in a community initiative held in the presence of Supreme Council for Health chairman and Bahrain Diabetes Society chairman Lieutenant General Dr Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, and Good Word Society honorary president Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa.
Lt Gen Dr Shaikh Mohammed commended the Good Word Society’s efforts and its co-operation with the Bahrain Diabetes Society in providing the pumps, noting their role in helping children manage diabetes more effectively and improve their quality of life.
