Schoolchildren took to Bahrain’s beaches yesterday, armed with gloves and rubbish bags, as part of World Cleanup Day campaigns, transforming the shores into outdoor classrooms for lessons in environmental responsibility.
Observed annually on September 20, World Cleanup Day brings together communities worldwide to raise awareness about littering, responsible waste disposal and the importance of protecting public spaces.
