John Kevin

I am John Kevin C. Cubita. I have just turned 30 years old and I hail from the Philippines. At present, I am teaching as an IGCSE English Literature teacher for Grade 9 students at the Arabian Pearl Gulf School in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Before my teaching stint abroad, I used to teach at General Santos City National High School in my native city of General Santos. I handled Regular English, Advanced English, and Campus Journalism subjects in there while juggling other responsibilities of being the coordinator for the Journalism Department's school operations and maintenance and prefect of discipline.

Prior to being a public school teacher, I also had the opportunity to teach in a private school. While I was teaching there, I handled a few tasks and responsibilities such as being the school paper adviser, schoolhouse adviser, and chess club moderator, although I was also a classroom adviser.

As a teacher, I can say that I am passionate about teaching. I am always after the learning of my students; hence, I always try to make sure that I deliver relevant and student-centered lessons. I always try hard and give my best to facilitate understanding among my students and help out in every possible way I can.

As an individual, I am very outgoing. I find it easy to interact with different kinds of people and work with them to achieve common goals and aspirations. I am very open to suggestions and always like to take considerations of other people's views and opinions. I am also a jolly and extroverted person which my students like.
